The gameplay trailer for Destiny 2 dropped on Thursday 18th May and it truly looks astonishing. Destiny 2 is set to be released on September the 8th 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One. No release date has been announced for PC, however when it is released it will be available through Blizzard’s Battle net. The game can already be pre-ordered from stores such as Amazon. One major feature that Bungie announced was that all of the PvP content has been redesigned to support 4 player teams. Bungie has also confirmed that Raids are available to everyone.
A whole new solo campaign will be coming to Destiny 2, called Red War. The campaign will allow you to battle with all new NPC characters and will include more cinematics than there ever has been before. The game also introduces players to new planets such as Titan, Nexus and Earth. A new mode, known as Countdown, will be coming to the Destiny sequel as well as an updated UI. The new UI is designed to make the game easier for newcomers, however, still provide the challenging aspect for more experienced players. The original Destiny included classes such as Titans, Warlocks and Hunters. These classes return in Destiny 2, however new subclasses and weapons have been introduced. Destiny 2 brings the players all new exotic weapons and armour, creating a whole new experience for players.
As previously mentioned, the release date for Destiny 2 is 8th September 2017, however, for players who pre-order the game will be able to access the beta. Although there is no date set for the beta, it is usually a few months before the full game is released. A collector’s edition of Destiny 2 is also set to release for £219.99. The collector’s edition includes:
- Destiny 2 base game
- Expansion Pass
- Frontier Bag
- Frontier Kit
- Limited Edition Steel book Case
